Writing academic papers remains a constant challenge throughout my nursing program studies. The additional writing requirement seems to create extra workload beyond practical training sessions. Is it really that necessary?

As a nursing student, I used to see academic writing as a big burden. But now I understand why it matters. Writing helped me learn how to think clearly and explain my ideas better, especially when dealing with patients or reports. It’s not always fun, but it trains your brain. So yes, it can feel hard, but I believe academic writing is more of a necessity than just a task we have to do.
