The Washington County Amateur Radio Club (W5AUM) is a community-driven, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the art and science of amateur radio through education, technical development, and public service. With more than 60 members from across Washington County and surrounding areas, the club brings together individuals of all backgrounds to learn, experiment, and support one another in the world of radio communications. Through licensing classes, monthly meetings, on-air nets, and hands-on activities, the club fosters both technical skill and fellowship. Members also play an active role in supporting community events and providing volunteer emergency communications when needed, reflecting a strong commitment to service and preparedness.
